And Once Again 1st Tale, Page 10
Passing by the days
No, it’s reluctance?
Not sure if it’s going to become a habit for me to post the pages super late at night rather than during the day, but here we are again aren’t we friends?
Look. I’m going to try to not be so down on myself for some of the mistakes I made in the 1st Tale when it comes to the narrative. I was still learning what did and didn’t work in this format. But I really don’t have much of an excuse for this page. I’m basically just asking everyone to go with the assumption that Borei has been here for a few days and knows this random monk dude who only exists to give Borei a quest. I didn’t show it, I just show this and make you assume that… For that I’m kind of sorry. It won’t ever happen again, the 1st Tale isn’t as tightly written as I would have wanted it to be but I had to start the series in a relatively short amount of time. On the other hand, in my defense… And Once Again is based off of old eastern folklore and it had a lot of convenient things happen like this with monks all the time.
This was however the last major issue I have in the 1st Tale. The writing is about 95% solid from here on out. So stay with me folks, starting Friday you’re gonna see some serious shit.
